Breakfast, brunch and burgers in Hoboken

There are five ways in, and they do different jobs.

• Order online for pickup or delivery through the restaurant's own ordering page. The direct route, and the one where the kitchen keeps the most of what you spend.
• Reserve a table on Resy. Worth doing at weekend brunch; with brunch running until four in the afternoon Friday to Sunday, the middle of the day fills up, not just the morning.
• Call (201) 238-2484 for anything the software cannot answer, a large party, a question about a dish, or the whole rotisserie chicken family meal, which needs 45 minutes and is only available after noon.
• Gift cards are issued through Toast and delivered by email.
• The app. There is an Uncle Rocco app with a rewards programme attached. Worth it if you are here often enough to be earning on it rather than just installing it.

The restaurant also appears on the major delivery aggregators. Those work, and if that is where your credit is, use it. But ordering direct is the version where more of the money reaches 112 Willow Ave.

Read on 2026-09-02, 321 people had rated Uncle Rocco on Google and the average was 4.6. The breakdown that day: 263 five-star (82%), 19 four, 12 three, 13 two and 14 one. The total moves every week, so the profile carries the current one.

We publish the whole distribution rather than the headline because 4.6 is not five stars and we are not going to write it as though it were. 27 people out of 321 had a bad time. That is a real number, it is on the same page as the good ones, and the honest version of a 4.6 is more use to you than a rounded-up one.

The short version, with the long one on our story: the mozzarella is made in the building, the sauces are made in the building, and so is the bread pudding that then turns up inside a burger and inside an iced latte. The soft serve comes off a machine here too.

The kitchen's own ordering data puts Smash Burger ($12.00), Big J Burger ($19.00), Rocco Burger ($19.00), Spicy a la Vodka ($20.00), Whole Rotisserie Chicken Family Meal ($36.00), Chicken Sangwich ($16.00), Steak Frites ($26.00) and Greek Salad ($16.00) at the top. Read that list again and the pattern is obvious: this is a burger-and-pasta room that happens to serve breakfast, not a breakfast room with a burger on the side.

Our brunch runs to four in the afternoon Friday through Sunday, and to the 1 PM close Monday through Thursday. The full lunch and dinner menu runs alongside it, so a table can order a lemon olive oil pancake and an 8 oz hanger steak at the same time.
